A Bill, A4502, was introduced in the New Jersey Assembly on September 22, 2022

Like the recent Laws passed and signed into law in New York State, this Bill recites a litany of so-called "Sensitive Places."
From my perspective, the worst part of the Bill is that it calls out churches, synagogues and mosques as places where people cannot carry even if they have a carry permit.

This is not a piece of Legislation that will go nowhere (like taxing each cartridge $100). This could easily become law in the Peoples Republik of New Jerseystan, and our long awaited rights under Bruen would be on hold till the new law is overturned.
Please call and write and do whatever you can to prevent this travesty
BTW: From a Constitutional Law perspective, making it a felony to protect oneself in a church, synagogue or mosque (but not a Yoga Studio, Union Hall or Fraternity Lodge, for example) is, IMHO, a violation on its face of the 1st, 2nd and 14th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution, as well as a violation of Equal Protection. And if Substantive Due Process is still a thing, it violates that as well.

...
(i) any place of worship, including but not limited to a church,
mosque, or synagogue
