Is this 29-3 a Lew Horton

There is a blued, 29-3 with a 3" barrel for sale locally. He states it has period correct, logo'd Pachmayr grips, not originals. It's serial number is ALB8340. Is this in the range of a Lew Horton? Or is it just a nice 29-3? Thanks for the input!

Lee Horton is pretty quick on replying to questions ho to their web site & look for the contact us,They replied to My question within a few hours & responded with a printable letter.

Few years ago I emailed S&W CS a question about my 3" 610. It had nothing to do with whether it was a Lew Horton, as I already knew it was. But they did mention it on the side that it was a LH according to the ser#.

Hi! For some reason I did not get the email you sent to our customer service dept. Sorry about that! Your gun, ALB8340, did not come through Horton's. That was a very large run, and S&W did sell some of those to other distributors at the end of the run.
