Is this S&W website price on the M&P15T wrong?

I emailed several of our local dealers to try to find one of these. Only two dealers returned my request with a price and one told me they price on the web is wrong.

This is what I asked…

I am interested in a Smith & Wesson M&P15T, SKU: 811041.
Do you have one in stock and what is your price? Thanks

We have one Smith and Wesson M&P15T in stock at this time. Our price is $1499, a good savings below the MSRP of $1928.

I have checked with all my distributors and no one has that model. If I can get it, the price is $1275

The original T is 811002 I believe (in any event the model number is one of the first three) and is a different version with Troy folding BUIS and a different Troy Battle rail. The model you refer to comes with magpuls and downgraded equipment relative to the original.

CDNN still has the 811003 for $1189.

I have not seen nor held the new model, but you can find opinions nearby.

I just recently purchased the M&P 15T (Troy equipped model) from CDNN. I am not sure how much quantity they still have in stock but ordering from them was very easy and I got my rifle in 3 days.

Just shot the M&P for the first time a week ago and it it truly a great rifle.

811001 is the old model 15T- Sorry. Just looked at the case. (not 811003)

You should be able to get the new, downgraded model fro $1000 or a little less. Not sure as my local guys still have the original models in stock. I paid $1425 in Jan for the original with the troy furniture. Anddenverdavey has is right. Original sku is 811001.

I'm kinda familiar with both models. Buds has the 811001 for $1366 if anyone is looking for one.

I don't need sights so I really don't want to pay extra for the $200 Troy sights.

They have a price of $923 on the 811041, but don't have any in stock.

I'm not sure how much difference there is in the rail, but I just can't see paying $443 difference. The 811001 has not been replaced; it is back up on the S&W web site. The 811041 doesn't appear to me to be a "Downgraded" model; but just a different set-up.

Anyone know whose quad rails they are using on the 811041?

And the new retail price on the old model with the better hardware is $1,928.00! I am so happy that I only paid $1,000.00! I do think the gun was lightly used. The dealer never talked about whether it was used or not (and I never asked), and he moves so many guns for a one-man shop he may not have remembered. Even so, I think the price I paid was a steal!

I picked up a 15T 811001 at Cabelas in WI last week for 1,250They had some hot specials on S & W products and the 811001 is a nicely equiped factory AR.

Thanks, I found the 811001 at CDNN last May for $1189.99 with a free carry handle and 10 cheap plastic mags. So got it for less than I was quoted for the 811041.

Just got off the phone with Atlantic tactical that price is Leo only. They need a copy of your ID and then they will ship it to you ffl
