So I just purchased a few accessories for my M&P 15 Sport (First Version) and I’m having trouble getting my M Lok Carbine handguard installed. Has anyone been able to install this on theirs? It seems like it’s too big to me but it could also be user error lol. Any suggestions for a good replacement handguard/rail? I’d like to put a vertical grip/bipod, and laser/flashlight on it. Not sure if the laser/light combo is even possible with the M Lok.

I have installed one on my S&W carbine with a 16" barrel. Make sure that the handguard you purchased is for the barrel length that you have. There are more than one length. There are instructions online regarding how to remove and install a handguard.

Two people: One pulls down the rear handguard holder and the other person removes the old one and snaps the new one in place. Takes less than 15 seconds to replace it.

Thanks for the reply guys. I managed to get the handguard on there and the grip. Now I’m having an issue with my iProtec RM190LSR. I can’t get the darn thing mounted because of an issue with the threads where the screw goes in to hold it. I reached out to them to get a replacement. However even with it installed I wouldn’t be able to use the vertical grip. Is there a side mounted light/laser combo or should I buy an additional rail or buy one long rail? I would think having a side mount light/laser wouldn’t Be an optimal location for it. Also one other question. Could I put a bipod on it as well or is that just way too many attachments? Maybe pull off the grip when using the bipod?

Sorry for the million questions but I’m new into the whole modifying guns world. I’ve got plenty of toys but all stock.

I have the Magpul M-lock handguards and a light setup...lose the laser, not worth the money or trouble.
