My friend has a 1950 in pretty decent shape. It belonged to his Father when he was in his teens. It escaped the family back in the 60s and John was able to buy it back about 10 years ago.

It is his most prized possession. I've driven it several times. Flathead V8 with a 3 speed on the column. Runs great. Turns and stops.....not so good.

When I went to work for Ma Bell in 1950, most of the trucks were of this vintage. A couple of '41 Fords were still there & a few Chevys & a International. All were half tons, 6 cylinders & 3 speeds. In 1952 I got a new Ford & had it for years. These pics sure brought back the memories.
