I had this revolver on order for more than a year and a half, and it finally arrived. I have always been looking for that perfect CCW and I think S&W finally came out with the one. The revolver is all stainless steel, with just enough weight, yet not to heavy, to control recoil, and still be comfortable to carry all day. The 3 dot white outline night sights give a great sight picture in all light conditions, and the hammerless design is perfect for carrying in a pocket. The double action is very smooth, making for good steady repeat shots. I use Hornady Critical Defense Ammo in both 38 Special, and 357 Magnum. The revolver being designed to use full moon clips is also a big plus as it makes loading and unloading a breeze, as well as being able to carry extra ammo very easily. Currently for no jacket weather I use an Uncle Mike's pocket holster, and picked up a DeSantis belt holster specially designed for this revolver for jacket weather. If you are looking for an all around great CCW weapon Smith and Wesson hit a home run with this Model 640 Pro.
I currently have Craig Spegel "Centennial" grips on the revolver, and plan to buy CT laser grips in the future for it.
