It is deer season . . . HOW MANY OTHER S&W HANDGUN HUNTERS OUT THERE???

One with a 29 4" and an 8 pt with a Super Redhawk scoped,as he passed out of bow range.
I am anxious to put a Holosight on a 57 with 8 3/4.I would like to have it drilled and tapped for a mount-Should I send it to S&W for the work or elsewhere?

You should be able to have it done locally, and for not a lot of money either. My 29-5 originally wasn't drilled and tapped either, since it was made about 1989-1990.

Tom Turner really got me looking forward to gun season. This is my weapon of choice for white tails.Have three tags and I hope to fill at least one with my 629.

I had to work late today and had "honey do's" tonight. BUT . . . with the pre-rut really kicking in, I'm gonna be spending some time very soon in the woods.

All I'm gonna take with me is the M29/Holo. Heck, when the bucks start chasing the does that rig works better than anything else when they appear suddenly and then are just as quickly gone.

I'm really looking forward to it.

T.

PS: Hunted Thursday morning . . . passed on a small buck. I like to see the little ones grow up!!!

Hope everyone has a great handgun season!!!

PPS: NICE RIG, tacreload!!! You're gonna love it this season!!!!!

I have camoflaged my stand better since I took this picture, and deer are passing within 6 yards on my right heading to/from the creek. I plan on using my 686 to take the first 8 pointer I may see. Easier to use a handgun then to stand up, turn around, and aim a long gun !

ive taken five deer with my modified 19-3 ,she will hold a 3" group at 100 yards of a rest -best one was at sixty yards walking straight towards me . used 158 grn jhp
