I cleaned my M&P10s per suggestions and lots of EEE Z spray. Went out today with a PMAG and factory 10 rnd mag. Both weapons worked flawlessly with American Eagle 308 150 grn with about 100 rnds.
I then put in some Spanish 1979 surplus rounds and mucho misfires. The bottom line is that the M&P 10 is sensitive to ammo, that is for sure.
On the other hand my M14s and M1a's work just fine with Spanish 7.62, with every now and then a clean strike dud. I did not try to check the accuracy of the surplus stuff, but will now be focusing on building up a pile of American Eagle 308
I also have gotten used to teardown, clean and assembly of the M&P 10 and now like them a lot. NOw if I can just get the Nikon Scopes to get on target!
