Hi all, After reading Arman's thread yesterday (1948 Colt Officers .22 vs Model 17 1959) there I was at one of local pushers, just looking around minding my own buisness you see, and what did I spy in the used revolver shelf. A nice Colt Officer Model in .22 LR, instantly my mind recalled Arman's post and I concluded that to keep this Colt vs S&W shoot out fair I would just have to purchase this Colt and run a test of my own! I figure that a head to head test of the Colt with my new 1947 vintage K-22 is in order. Now is this not a fine kettle of fish, it's bad enough with my S&W addiction now this forum has me buying Colt's!

I feel your pain.

I, too, have drifted into Coltness in recent weeks. But I am not yet ready to confess the specifics of my actions among my friends in this fine forum.

On the other hand, over on the Colt forum...

remember, and repeat after me, ''Colt autos, Smith and Wesson revolvers...''
