Now a House member( not going there) is proposing a bill to outlaw ANY ammo capable of penetrating police armor.

That includes about 75% of ALL ammo.
I knew it would return, but I didn't think it would be this soon.

Banned Ammo

I don't believe hoarding ammo prior to the "law" will help. The way I remember the wording of the previous proposed ban included "OR IN POSSESION OF" such ammunition.

If this law goes into effect, it will surely be the start of something very difficult to reverse. Let's hope common sense overrules such nonsense.

Congress is not the ones wanting to ban the ammo, at least not a majority of them. It's the ATF. They are the ones we have to worry about at the moment. Remember who is in charge of the ATF.

As for the Republican Congress, at the moment they are useless. Until they grow a set I have no faith in them to do much of anything.

I caught a conversation by.....

I caught a conversation by a couple of gun grabbers saying that if they could ban primers that would do away with ammunition and reloading altogether.

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

An arm isn't an arm without ammunition and I'd consider this an infringement of our right to keep and bear arms.

However. This doesn't keep them from trying and any nuisance bill they can pass adds up and is hard to get off the books once it is there.

I yearn to be independent from the ammo supply.

Maybe if a sensible person becomes president it would be time to pass a bill(another one) outlawing ANY attempts to attack or change the 2nd amendment and end this merry-go-round once and for all.

That's the big problem, they just don't give in. A lot of it is raw meat for their base, but it's also stuff they'd like to do.
