It's back!

Bonomo Turkish Taffy is being made again....of course, considering the cost of my recent and not so recent dental work and the fact that I need to avoid sugar I had to walk away...........but it's calling my name!

Does that bring back memories from the late 50's & early 60's.

Remember getting that from vendors at the beach. Frozen solid. You would smack it on something hard to shatter it into pieces.

I think I recall vanilla, chocolate and strawberry flavors. Vanilla was actually to best to my tastes.

Banana was my favorite flavor. I would pick one up after school and put it in my back pocket. It would get soft and get a little curve to it. When I got down to the skating rink, it would freeze solid again. Then it broke even easier when I smacked it on the ice.
