Kind of the same here..

My first 686, I traded for and AR lower and some 5.56 ammo. My second 686 (Magnaported) I traded a Glock 26, mags and ammo. And the 625 I bought after selling a Beretta Tomcat. Several members here reminded me that I can ALWAYS get a Glock and that these little beauties don't come up for sale all the time...Very good advice!!

I know...I just spotted another 625 3" on a local forum and I literally have to talk myself out of sending the guy a message.

this is Wisent from Germany, let ma express my deepest sympathy - I am with you, my wife did nearly the same to me referring to me knife collection. In Germany our gun laws are extremely hard to bear, I love all S&W wheelguns but as a hunter in Germany you are allowed to buy only two, regardless what caliber or barrel length.

i too was getting the evil eye on gun purchases........i decided to accomadate...so i put a biggggg safe on layaway!
