I went to Streicher's in Plymouth Minnesota (LE STORE) this morning, and I bought a Smith And Wesson M&P 357 Sig with night sight,3 mags and grips (LE package) and defiantly loving it. I also ordered a 40 cal barrel from Midway USA on Thursday And got it on Saturday.
So now I got 2 guns in one, and the good thing I never had to pay a thing for it. My Father promised me that if I made it through th Police Academy and got my college degree (diploma) he would fork out the money for it; well he had to eat those words and he did=:).
I was in charge of the paper work and he was in charge of the money which I like a lot.
Now I can say that I am now one of guys and not a wannabe. Now I want I mean need a 4006 in my next baby and like to start collecting S&W metal frame guns now. Revolvers I can always use my Fathers S&W and Colt wheel guns he said any time I wanted to barrow them I could.

Well how many handguns do I have now?
1. Smith And Wesson M&P 357 Sig with 40 barrel
2. Sig Sauer P 226 357 Sig and with a 40 barrel
3. Beretta 92FS 9mm
4. Glock 22 40.

Welcome brother !!! Welcome to the great world of S&W firearms. I've owned several models both revolver and semi-auto and they have all worked great without any failures of any kind. When I'm not carrying my newly acquired Ruger LCP then my gun of choice is an early '80s S&W 469. It's a great 9mm auto with 12 round pre-ban mags. A local police chief bought two of them back in the day, one for himself and one for his son. His son was not interested in it and it sat unused in the box all these years. I basically bought it new in box just a few months ago. I have also thought about getting a M&P 9mm to replace it, but it runs so perfectly I think I'll just keep things the way they are.
Anyway, give us a range report and let us know how you like your new piece. Congrats on your great accomplishments too !!! Shoo

A whole frappin' arsenal! Good going.

And congratulations your accomplishment! I'm sure your Dad was glad to see you meet both goals.

Kyle glad you got a college education and I bet your dad
had no problem buying the gun after you got your education.

Congratulations on your new gun and especially on your other accomplishments. And sounds like Dad is a pretty sharp customer, too.

Congratulations Kyle. If your Dad wants to adopt tell him I am available. Also, if you want to have some fun with your new guns you might want to check into some of the excellent USPSA and IDPA clubs in the Twin City area. It's a great way to improve your skills and meet both law enforcement and civilians who share the enthusiasm you obviously have . Welcome aboard !

+1 I might even take out a peircing or 2, lol, but on a more serious note congrats on your education and handgun, you have some nice pistols and we look forward to hearing more from you

Grats on the new pistol and the academy ! Sadly I only have 2 S&W as I have to buy my own , model 28 357 revolver and SW40VE but I hope to buy more in the future ! And I agree , be careful out there on the streets !

Congratulations to you and your Dad Kyle!
Thanks for all the hard work it took on your part. And using it to protect us.

My first S&W was a M-39 9m/m that I bought while in college way back in 1979. It was my first centerfire handgun and it was a beauty. Wish I still had it, I miss the autos with high polish bluing and Walnut grips!

Gratz on both Graduations and the new addition to your arsenal. .357 sig is a damm hot round. I love mine.

It's a good thing that Resurrection is the name of the game this close to Easter, lol.
