Wrangler, once again. He is such a lounge cucumber it is pathetic.

Guess he wins. My guess, if I do get my own PERSONEL recliner, he will be there. I need help bad. My dogs control me and my check book. My wife took this photo, so what does that tell ya?? She, instead of taken a photo, could have done the right wife thing and...well...asked Wrangler to get off daddies recliner. But NOOO...

You own a recliner, and a dog??? We're gonna have to tax that! Sincerely, OBAMA.

If he leaves the recliner your gonna have to pay the dog gone tax too. Bruce

I feel your pain. I get up to get something, come back. there is a Cat in my chair, acting like he has been there all day! I have four chairs in the den, they always go for the warm one.

Well Barb,
I'm glad to see we're not the only house where the half of the furniture the dogs "prefer", have Afghan's on them!

my last dog (13 years) was only allowed on the furniture if I was sitting in my easy chair, and that was ok with me. she never got on the furniture otherwise she had her bed by the fireplace, and that is where the wife always told her to go

I have 3 dogs and the only place they will not jump on is my recliner and my bed. Funny how they know I dont want them there. I also had a cocker spaniel that knew not to go on my chair. One day I came in and found him sleeping on the floor and he even acted like I just woke him up. The only problem was my recliner was a rocker and it was rocking by itself,HMMM?

Afghans are nice too.

Personally, I'd buy leather next time for easier hair cleanup. And if you're lucky, the pet may prefer a different chair or even a carpeted floor.
