I've a Horton M24-3 and want to use moon clips
I believe you will find out, sooner or later, that your plan to "moon clip" a fine .44 Special revolver like the 24-3 is a mistake of biblical proportions. If you proceed to maim this revolver, of which, few were made, and later try to sell or trade it, you'll find yourself in a very undesirable position. If you must use moon clips, then sell the M24-3 to someone who appreciates them, buy yourself a .45 ACP revolver, or if you must have speed, there are a multitude of auto pistols out there. To destroy a M24-3 rather than saving it for the future, or allowing someone else the opportunity to enjoy it is unwise, ill-advised, and should not be done.
