Although I've had a few sets of ivory grips for some time, I've only used them for display purposes.

How durable are they on a j frame with standard loads? They are magna style and very comparable with the standard magna dimensions.

You should have no problems with the ivory with your J frame. Some ivory can develope cracks. I don't like ivory for a carry gun because of the slickness. But they are beautiful to look at!
