Hello all.
After a lot of research I decided on a CS9 for daily carry. Wanted something metal and sturdy, of course. Now I'm trying to find a quality leather IWB holster to stuff it in. I don't mind spending the money but like to get the most bang for my buck, as I'm sure anyone can understand.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance.

Lots of choices out there. Sometimes it is difficult to find something specifically for the CS9, but the slide is the same width on all the 3d gen 9 mm pistols - only the barrel length differs. So, essentially, you can use, say, a holster for a 3913/908 and only have an extra 1/2 inch in the muzzle. Some of the holster makers will even trim that if the design has an open bottom (which you want, anyway).

I like Tucker Gunleather, they have some good designs and are rather quick on delivery. I'm sure other posters will suggest lots of others.

Did you replace the recoil and mag springs, yet? Got some grease for the rails?

Enjoy your new pistol. You choose a little sweetheart.

I have an IWB from Don Hume and a Cross Breed I think the later is more comfortable but the former is easier to get on and off. If its not Kydex or injection molded any thing for a G-26/27 will fit.

Thanks for the great info, just what i needed. Picked her up today, had it checked out, and ran 100 rounds threw it. So Sweet!

I did order the Mini IWB from Tucker Gun Holsters. It looked like what i would make for myself if I could. I have it tucked in a belly band the wife picked up for me whilst I await the leather goods. If her hands weren't so small it might have been her Shield in my band right now instead.

I do plan on having the spring changed, etc., good tip. It's in great shape, and want to keep it that way. It did shoot low, but consistent. I've read it's common for some people and a different rear sight will adjust it.

Thanks again for responding!

Don Hume has a variety of leather IWB holsters for the S&W CS9 (#28 CS).

I have a CS40 that I carry in a model H715-M, and I highly recommend that model for IWB CC. This holster works well in several positions around the waistline to include cross-draw .

The J.I.T. Slide model works well for OWB if you don't mind having the muzzle exposed.

I use a Bianchi model 100.

I have one for my CS-45 and my CS-9 but I also have a soft, leather holster for the CS-9 from Kirkpatrick Custom Holsters.

I actually have not used it yet but I will, and I have to add the precautionary statement that as a soft sided holster re-holstering IS A PROBLEM - it's difficult and you need to be aware of that.

I just like soft holsters because there is no significant "width", the leather is thin and it's just the gun that is creating "width".

Easy carry, easy concealment.

Hi Folks !!! Good thread and glad I found it...I use the versacarry IWB Ranger which is versatile and inexpensive (I also have The Ranger made specifically for my 365xl). Works great for all my smaller S&W semis incl M&P shield compacts, CSxx, 69xx,3913LS, 4013 and my SA Mod 2 45 3.3 gripzone, etc. Very comfy and easy to use covers the trigger guard, has comfy inner fabric that is against your skin. I am lucky so far that I don't have a huge box holsters I do not use...
