Been trying to deside on as good a IWB holster for my Shield as can be found. I am a large guy with a 38" waist line. So far I have been most impressed with the latest model (3rd generation) Nate Tacticle IWB holster line, but I'm not sure if they make one for the Shield- YET!, I know they make them for the M&Pc's so I'm hoping with the shield flying out of dealers cases almost the instant they arrive, they will make one if they don't already. But I am of a open mind concerning any IWB that conceals well and is REASONABLY comfortable to wear.

Thank you,

Arthur.

I like Crossbreed supertucks. There are other companies that make similar products (not sure who all does currently for the Shield) but they will be soon enough.

Hicock45 on youtube has a recent video of many of the Hybrid holsters..

Look at Old Faithful Holsters for a good horsehide back with Kydex in the form of a kit. You can have a great IWB holster for under $50. Cowhide is even less.

I am using the DeSantis pocket-tuk. You have the option of removing the belt clip and using the holster for pocket carry. I use it as a IWB. This combo is more comfotable than my 380BG in a crossbreed micro.

Mark Lucas of Deadeye Luke Holsters is making a very thin and comfortable Kydex holster for the Shield. I have one on order -- and have been using his P-chip holsters for my Glocks for some time now. Your can wear it all day long and almost forget it is there!

My favorite holster is the Remora.

I don't have one for the Shield yet, but they are very comfortable for the FS and compact.

I got an IWB holster from Winthrop Holsters in Ohio. A small maker of very nice holsters & very nice people. It rides at 4 o'clock comfortably and invisibly. Paid $55.

I have an IWB from Cleveland Holsters www.clevelandsholsters.com

Similar in style to a crossbreed, with good pricing. The best part is the Customer Service. I received a call yesterday from Bobbie Cleveland asking if I was completely satisfied with this holster. This is the second holster I got from them. The first was for an SR9c

Low cost and as thin as can be possibly made. This pic is one for my Kahr PM9. My Shield version came yesterday.

Theisholsters.com | Home | Custom IWB Holsters This guy is awesome. Very personalized experience with ordering from him. He even gives you his cell phone number if you have any questions about your order, or how to wear/break in the holster. It really is a passion for him, not just a $ maker.

I was going to go crossbreed, but the turn around was too long, and their ability to get horsehide was hit and miss. Not only did Theis come out slightly cheaper, he seems to have a readily available supply of horsehide (better with moisture). His holsters are shaped the same as the combat cut option with crossbreed.

I'd buy from him again without thinking twice.

I carry mine in a Comp-Tac Minotaur MTAC. They also make several mag carriers for the Shield.

Check out EBAY. Search for "S&W M&P Holsters", there's many available.
