I carry my CS40s in one of these...

Check around for the best price. They are on sale for $41 here now. You might find a used one for even less.
I like the versatility the clip-on gives me to carry it strong hand or switch to uncanted cross draw when I drive or seated on certain occasions.

The Bianchi Professional is about the best IWB solution out there for the CS40 and CS45.
It works even better if you discard the OEM rubber grips and replace them with TercGen Custom Delrin grips. Thins out the gun and makes it ride more comfortably.
I have also found that non fitted holsters for a Glock 27 work well with my CS45 - which shares the same frame and dimesnsions as your CS40. Good luck! Regards 18DAI

I wanted to carry my 6946 today, so I grabbed the holster and removed my CS40 and inserted the 6946 out of habit.
Then, I remembered this thread, so I thought I'd add that the Bianchi 100 Professional Sz 11 fits more than the CS40 and CS45 as discussed above. It also works with the round trigger guard 4516, 5943, and my 6900 series pistols.
