J and K Frame barrels

I don't like sounding like a jerk, but are J and K frame 2" barrels interchangeable?
I have a 2" barrel I got with other parts years ago and it was described as a J frame barrel. I compared its outer dimensions to those that could be reached for my 10-5 with 2" barrel and they are close enough to be the same. I don't know about the threads.
Sorry if this is a stupid question.

Sorry sir no, they aren't. (that's not a stupid question)

Threads are different......J= .500"x36, K= .540"x36
