JordonC2,

I don't have personal experience with the Clip draw, but a friend of mine does carry his this way and likes it. However, he said he bought the universal clip draw vs the one made specifically for the j frame. I seem to recall it had something to do with how much of the stocks were accessible. Hope this helps.

Its not for everyone to include all left handed shooters and anyone who wants/has CT grips. Other then that I have found that its a mixed bag, some have bought it as an extra option and hated and some have loved it. Its really been 50/50 and have concluded that this is one of those things that you need to see/try for yourself to figure out. Hopefully one of your friends has it or someone you know for you to see/try or if its not a big deal to you its something like $20 or so for the J frame version. You could get it and see.

I know not a whole lot of info but that has been my experience, YMMV.

I prefer a Barami grip if going holsterless. No worries about the grip jamming up the cylinder. I suspect it's a very rare occasion that the Clip Draw would get bent and jam up the gun, but...

I've carried and shot mine a lot - no such problems. I carry it AIWB. I also use the "universal" model - not the one specifically made for the J Frame.
