Looking online, I see Crimson Trace lists no weight for the LG-405 grip for J-frames. Some places say 4oz, which seems plausible; others say 1oz, which I think is a misinterpretation of CT's marketing that it "adds less than 1 ounce". If anyone knows off hand or has a set laying around they can weigh, I'd love to know the actual weight of these grips. The price is a bit steep for me to order on a whim, and I'm trying to save every ounce I can.

I took this opportunity to replace the batteries in my LG-405 LaserGrips-equipped M640-1: the grips, complete with two fresh Sony CR2032 batteries and the mounting screws, comes to exactly 1.5 ounces.

I have had the CT Defender Series (DS-124) Red Laser Grip on my 442 for at least 5 years: it is half the price of (or le$$ than?) their LG-405 and has an ON/OFF button for the right thumb vs. the 3rd-finger activation.

Been perfect for me. Don't know the actual weight.

Just an FYI...

CHEERS!

Wow that's really light. And I've heard they are one of the best grips for recoil even ignoring the laser. I actually cancelled my order when I read they were 4oz, thanks for weighing them! That changes everything frankly, I think I'll grab a pair - not many grips lighter than that.
