Will a titanium cylinder from a 360 or 340PD revolver fit in a 637? Has there ever been a 38 Special only model with a titanium cylinder? Anybody have an idea where someone could find a 432/632 UC Ti cylinder?

Switching cylinders from revolver to revolver can require fitting. They rarely just fit perfectly right off the bat. That can even apply within the same models. What is your goal here? If it is strictly weight reduction, the few ounces you save might be more of a hassle than it is worth. That said, some just enjoy tinkering - I get that. Good luck and let us know wha your results are if you try.

Thanks chief38! I wanted to shave some weight, I like the way they look with the TI cylinder and it could end up being a good learning experience. 340/360 Ti cylinders are available, and I continue to try and educate myself on how to gunsmith Smith & Wesson revolvers. At present my only options are Kuhnhausen, Videos and folks such as yourself. Fitting a cylinder is something I have not tried. I would like to get competent at all aspects of diagnosis, repair and tuning of these magnificent sidearms.

I had a line on a 431PD, but that evaporated, so there is no need pursue a Ti cylinder for a 432/632 UC Ti for it.
