Any idea who the manufacturer of these grips are? Any value thoughts would be welcomed as well.

Those things look almost home-made. Notice how the checkering just tapers off at the rounds. Doesn't quite have the professional look of most grips coming from most manufacturers these days.

I thought about that, thing is they will fit both square and round butt...haven't heard of many home-mades that will do that.

It might be one of the pairs on Ebay that come from Taiwan.

Thats a bummer... Should I be concerned about quality or anything like that?

If you plan to use them, judge them on how they fit and feel in your hands. As far as quality is concerned, there's an old saying among horsemen, "There's no such thing as a bad color on a good horse."

That's how I see it. While I have a feeling that the several who posted Taiwan called it right (unless they came from Thailand), my first reaction to those grips was that there was a very good chance they might be great grips. Checkering, THREE fingers? Only you can tell, by putting your hand around them, but you may have a nearly priceless set of grips. After all, a gun IS for shooting, isn't it? Isn't it?

I have big hands and two finger grips just don't work for me. I blew out my wrists in an accident a few years back and am now really recoil sensitive and don't want to give up on my Chiefs Special. Hence the large grips.

Well, they showed today. They need a bit of fitting I think, but the size is just right. What looks to be the issue is they appear to have been over tightened in a humid environment. I will take some pics as I fit them and go from there. If I had bought from a store, probably would return them. Since I didn't, going to see what I can do.

There seems to be two main sellers of Thai stocks on Ebay. I purchased a set for my Anaconda (before upgrading to a set of Herrett's) from one of them. The quality is outstanding for what you pay for them. If they don't work for you, give a set of Ahrends a try.

Thailand. Bought off of Ebay.

that's what I meant.

And it wasn't meant to say that they are bad or anything, I've always thought they looked good.
