Hello,

I'm looking for a couple of sets of stocks for my J Frames. I've searched the web to death and all I've been able to find is combat, boot, etc...I'm just looking for some nice cocobolo or walnut that expose the entire backstrap. I would like checkered or smooth with the S&W medallions. Any ideas?

thanks,

BM

Nills and Spegels come to mind, plenty of cheaper offerings from Asia hitting auction sites as well.I may have a nice set of the Spegels available in a day or two,but I believe that they're Bolivian rosewood,no medallions.

I just pickup a set of checkered banana grips from ebay.

The back is open and they extend down from the bottom by about 1/2 - 5/8.

I put them om my 342. Haven't been to the range but the feel is very nice. I was struggling with the various rubber grips, CT laser, and a pair of boots grips I have had on my 940-1 forever. None tamed the recoil.
