I saw a video where the guy from Lucky Gunner really badmouths the Remora pocket holster. Obviously your opinion differs. I like my Remora shoulder rig. One thing I remember him saying was that it didn't have any retention. I don't know why you would want such in a pocket holster but if you wear it as an IWB holster, maybe that's not good.

I am not sure how much retention Lucky Gunner requires but when it's IWB with a belt around it the gun isn't going anywhere. Now, maybe if you're running hell-bent-for-election there could be a problem, I dunno, I don't do any kind of running. :D

Then there is always something new

I have recently acquired a Mika holster for my J-frame. It disappears in my pocket as easily as the Galco pocket holster pictured with it. The big difference is that the gun comes out more easily, the holster never moves, and the gun can be easily reholstered. The Galco Summer Comfort IWB in the picture is used on those days when I need that M649 more easily accessible than when it's in a pocket. Certain times when driving.....think about that and you'll understand.....

I have Mika holsters for Makarovs, CZ 75B, CZ 97B, CZ 82, and J-Frame M49 Bodyguard. Best and simplest pocket holsters for a fair price. After 18 years they're still in great shape and, as you say, easy to reholster one-handed.

When I need a leather holster I have an old Bianchi paddle holster I wear as a cross draw.
