Deceided to load up some 38 special target loads to test out at the indoor range
since I had to take my 9mm small frame to shoot some loads to see how the new sight was and if it needed any adjustments from my "Eye ball" close attachment.
The 9mm was just a shade right and 1/2 a turn on the adjustment screw put it close enough, for me, for the test at
7, 10, 20 and 30 feet targets.
The snub nose 38 seemed to have a little more kick today but getting
older can do that but at least my nerves and muscle tone did pretty well
on this trip out and I only had two flyers.
However it was on the 158 Lwc with w231 load, that I really wanted to see, how it would do, since it did well on my last trip out,with this revolver.
I will just have to give it another try, on a later date.
All shots were double action and as fast as I could get back on target and also "Adjust"from shooters on both sides of me that were shooting Rifles or 40's.
All in all I was happy with the results.
The next trip will be with the 686 6" and Magnum cases.
