Hey All,
I tried a search of VZ grips..but the search engine gives me every mention of the word "grips"..which is unmanageable!

I have a 340 M&P, and the rubber grip snags at my clothing when I bend at the waist, etc..

I like wood on stainless revolvers (have some nice Ebony on my 66 snub), but on this 340...it just doesn't seem right to me.

I love the looks of the VZ grips made of G10 (i think...) material, and am wondering if anyone has tried used these grips before?
Yes, they are expensive, and I have heard the word "heavy" used to describe them....but does the material "grip" clothing?

I do recall this discussion happening here before, and do apologize for bringing it up again!

Any experiences would be helpful!

I don't know about grips for the J-frame, but I love the set on my 1911. Very easy to deal with VZ over the phone.

Speaking to VZ grips in general, they tend to be the tiniest bit heavier than plastic or wood grips. However, it's not a difference that will really be noticeable. They'll carry very much the same as wood and polymer grips, and your clothing shouldn't hang up on them.

I bought a pair of the 320's before they started checkering them and I was not impressed. They were too sharp on the bottom of the frontstrap and way too slick on the sides.

A set of VZ G10 grips weighs in at 2.8 ounces. The Hogue J-frame Bantum grip weighs in at 1.4 ounces.

I would look at a set of Altamount Dymondwood grips before I would look at VZ.
