J&G Trip

I've been wanting another J&G model 10 frame to rebarrel with a 3" heavy barrel I acquired. I visited and looked at a few frames and noticed the new batch was nicer than the ones I bought last year. I think someone wrote that the old frames marked JP were from Jordanian police, and the more recent batch was Canadian, but who knows...these frames do not mate well with heavy barrels, so I put a 2" on from Jack First. Here it is.

While I was there they had some gunsmith special CZ82S for $300, so I got one that needed a new mag release spring, and fixed it. Here it is. Shoots good too.

I also have and like the CZ 82. Great pistol, but I am jealous of being able to go to J&G and pick out your revolver. I have one of the earlier ones, last summer, but wouldn't mind another. Good revolvers.

Yep, we are lucky to live in a state that has good firearm rights. It's nice to be able to drive to J&G, but Southern OR is also a real nice location. I've been there and love it, but no J&G, that's true.
