Jealous

I know Lime Rock race track well. I use to hunt the land right to the right side of the track. The ridge that overlooks the track was a perfect spot to sit and watch the races.
I used to go to go to downtown Lakeville to a Bar / Restaurant and you could see several celebrity's like Paul Newman or Tom Cruise or others .
Lime Rock is Just a small village not much there but the track and a church it's mostly residential.

Don't be jealous. Get into the game.:D

PS. If you got the guts to do it (meaning the racing part of it. It can get pretty scary).:D

I raced SCCA just a little. I quickly concluded that I’d probably be dollars ahead if I just supported a couple of mistresses and developed a coke habit.

Choose your vices wisely.

I think it was every Labor Day Lime Rock used to have a race/show with Antique car's from the early 1900's on up.
It was great to see some of the early cars.

I do all my driving like that on the computer. My favorite sim is still the old Grand Prix Legends from back in 1998. I drove it for about 10 years.

I have been giving thought to finding one of what was my favorite car after I retire. The first car I bought with my own money was Dad's 1971 Toyota Celica ST. Did not have much horsepower but it sure did handle good. I'd like to find one and upgrade the drivetrain and suspension. Then maybe I can put in some track time somewhere besides on a computer.

I still have the brochure. Dad kept all the paperwork from his cars over the years. His/my Celica was a dark blue.

The attached thumbnail is almost exactly what our Celica looked like. Same mag wheels and all. We always had the whitewalls installed on the inside on our cars.

A friend of mine is racing a Lotus 7. He tells me it's a very funny ride.

Edit. That maybe true, but not for a 6 foot feller with size 11.5 feet.:(
