Due to the graciousness of author Mike Conti, I've ended up with two copies of the second installment of his great series on the life of Jelly Bryce. Therefore, I am offering one under the forum's popular Karma giveaway. Post your interest in the book during the next 24 hours, and I will randomly select one lucky person. No strings attached, and postage will be on my dime. You don't need to have read book one to enjoy book two, but I'm betting after reading book two, you'll want to pick up book one and three when it's released. ;)

I received Mike Conti's Book 2, " Jelly Bryce, FBI Odyssey" on Tuesday. I should have realized that it would be as good as Mike's Book 1, for yesterday I started it & the next thing I knew I was halfway through it and wouldn't have noticed then if not for an urgent bathroom break... Scoot over Clancy & Griffith... there's a new gun in town.

What? You don't read on the throne? LOL! I've read books I and II, and I don't think I put either one down till I finished them both. I am anxiously awaiting book III!

I picked up my review copy of Book II the other day and ripped through the first 155 pages in one sitting. A review would be premature, but it is not too soon to say this is one heck of a good read.

Thank you for your great offering. I would appreciate a read of this new book and will pass it on if I am selected.

If you guys are going to keep giving stuff away, call me first! I keep missing out! Just kidding, though my work life is killing my gun life. This is such a cool forum. The knowledge and experience that exists here is amazing.

I've been on the internet ever since Al invented it  , and I have to say that this is the most friendly and generous forum I've ever had the pleasure to belong to. I'm not rich by most people's standards, but I'm better off than most, and enjoy helping out people from time to time with random acts of kindness. So when I see this behavior by others, I feel right at home. ;)

Case in point: I recently posted I was looking for an ambidextrous safety for my 639. A member not only contacted me to say he had one, but shipped it out before I could send the check. I love that level of trust. :D

So if I can pay it forward a bit here, I'm happy to do so. As a firm believer in Karma, I know I'll be rewarded (or in many cases already have been rewarded) in the end.
