Jockstrap Holsters Are My Favorite Style. They have been for quite a number of years. I know that vintage makers Myres and Lawrence made them, and there were probably others, but Heiser wasn’t one of them. I know current makers produce them too. They can be very, very fancy or very plain.
I’ll start this thread by showing a couple of mine. It actually took me a while to find my first one, and it is very interesting because it is a unique uncatalogued one. Myres called that style a Ranger holster. This Myres Uncatalogued Ranger Threeperson Style Holster fits a Colt SAA with a 5 1/2 inch barrel.
My second example is what I think of when I see the words “jockstrap holster”. It is the traditional style, rather fancy because it’s very nicely floral carved. It fits a S&W K frame with a 6 inch barrel.
Show us what you have and tell us a little about them.
