Here is a nice set of Hurst grips, but for a Colt I believe. They are in nice condition and made from Rosewood. Which Colt model or models would they be for?

These look to me to fit a Colt Trooper or Lawman "J" frame. The flat inletting at the top of the grip gives them away.

That could be but Hurst was known for that flat even on grips for S&Ws depending on when they were made.

I was fooled too on my pair of second generation Hurst grips, thinking that the flat cut meant Colt MKIII J frame -- but the MKIII grips require relief for that big screw out the side.

Look where the hole for the locator pin is in the bottom corner. Smiths are in the center of the bottom of the frame, modern Colts typically in the corner. Measurements from the flat at the top to the bottom of the opening for the frame would help and also the widest part of the cavity at the bottom of the grip. Internal dimensions would really help.
