We used to be able to play any radio station all day and not mind. It's gotten so crappy and repetive with tons of obnoxious advertisements I gaver up on it. The constant daily dose of the Beetles and Stones are a big part of my discontent. They suck.

I don't care how much of a music genius he was. He was a commie and that's all I need to know. I have no respect for Paul McCartney either.

^^^ This sums it up for me too. Plus I was never a Beatle's fan. I was more into Pink Floyd, Steppenwolf, Led Zeppelin, and Uriah Heep.

A fellow I worked with at the time was a huge Lennon fan. When we heard the news, he got genuinely pissed. I can still remember him saying, "Why Lennon? Why John Lennon? He could'a shot Neil Sedaka or Barry Manilow and the music world would have cheered him."

I also remember the first time I heard a Beatles song turned into elevator music. That was pretty funny.

I got an idea! Why don't you super-wealthy socialists lead by example, and eliminate all of your worldly wealth by sending us all a check until your money is gone?

That´s the problem with socialists of every stripe - they want to pursue their wild equalitarian dreams with our money, not their´s.

Could be , Brazil my country is about the same, and I fear the whole world is heading the same way, with increasing government intrusion into every field of human activity, not only economic ones.
This kind of "take from the rich to give to the poor" policy will leave us all poor in the long run.
