Im grateful for his service in helping bring criminals to justice and for the sad loss of his son: Adam. However, my support now ends because of his anti-gun stance. I cant copy and paste but-its all over yahoo news if anyone cares to look.

John Walsh, making common cause with the party that would defend his child's murder's right to society after 'treatment' for his 'disability'.
John, your son is spinning in his grave. How does that make you feel John?

What party would that be? None that I recognize. And what do parties have to do with this?

He has lost all credibility with this stance. I hope he goes down in flames just like Piers Morgan. He can now hang out with Dick Metcalf and the rest of the Brady Bunch.
Any good he has been part of is now offset by this stupid move.

It seems to me that anyone who believes universal background checks are a good idea must think that would be an effective way to prevent any criminal from ever obtaining a firearm. I don't think I need to list the dozens of reasons why that is one of the biggest myths of the anti gun ideology.
One of the comments on a story about Chicago said that every firearm used by a criminal originated with a legal sale, but doesn't get into how they ended up in the hands of criminals. I think they were suggesting that many legal buyers give or sell to criminals conveniently ignoring things like theft, which could include from the store before any legal sale has even occurred. I suspect that some folks think that if only we removed all guns from law abiding citizens then there wouldn't be any for the criminals to get ahold of.

I won't be watching him. I won't be listening to anything he has to say. . I would rather sit in my garage beating on my toes with a ball peen hammer than acknowledge his existence.

He exploited his son's death to be a celebrity

He's done that for many years. I have never cared for him that much and now even less than I did. You would think someone like that would have a different view .

It is still possible to remove CNN from the channel menu. I haven't watched CNN since the first time I watched Piers rant and rave, and I haven't missed it a bit. It's not like they are a news channel that checks facts. CNN is the Jersey Shores of journalism.

I'm indifferent to the guy. I have seen a episode or two of his show but I've also seen an episode or two of just about everything else at one time or another. He can like guns, he can hate them. He can hate broccoli for all I care.

Another thing is this credibility talk. What credibility? He lost a child and has or had a reality TV type show. So what? He didn't even lead the show, 90% of that were actors telling a story with him narrating a bit. He was more like the presentor. Now if he was a life long detective with decades of experience in catching killers then he would have credibility.

Every time Piers Morgan was dumb enough to challenge someone on his show he got his lunch handed to him.

I believe that John Walsh had an honorable cause at one time.If he has now chosen the same path that Piers Morgan had he will go down in flames the same way.

Only time will tell how this plays out.
