I don't like my wife's dog enough to get that upset :)

Watched it Saturday. I still liked it, but not as much as the first two.
Three? Uhh-Mnnn.
Obviously, he just became the highest paid-per-word lead actor ever. Never had to learn any dailog. Director said "just say 'Yes' or 'Hmmm - 'Ummm'". Well ok. I did like it.
My LGS had one of the John Wick Derringers after the third movie.

I was underwhelmed with #4. There was some spectacular scenery but people getting hit by bullets, even though wearing ballistic armor, with no effect along with others (including Wick himself) walking through hailstorms of projectiles without injury was too much. Nor did I care for the ending, though I won't say why and spoil it for those who haven't seen it yet.

I saw it a couple of days ago. Over all, not bad. Typical John Wick movie. Non-stop action from start to finish. I actually think that hurt it a little. It was too busy.
BTW: be prepared. Its almost 3 hours long.
I didn't like the ending. But won't give it away.

I have only seen a few clips of any of them. Other than lots of blasting, is there any point to them. They are produced by antis I think.

I never even heard of it until some clips started showing up on YouTube...The action and storylines seem a bit staged and contrived...No realism at all...Still I like action movies so I'll watch at least one when I can find a freebie showing......Ben

I have digital copies of 9 Keanu Reeves movies. All are enjoyable entertainment that I frequently revisit.

I agree that JW 3 was a bit underwhelming. I haven't seen JW 4 so I can't comment on it one way or the other.

I like having choices.

I saw it last Sunday and honestly, I got up and left after the first 40 minutes or so. The ticket was free so didn't feel obligated to sit through it.

I know a lot of folks really like these action movies, but they aren't for me. It is hard to watch these movies because I think about the hypocrisy of the film industry as they off hundreds of people with violent gun play.

In the first thirty minutes there had to have been 50 people killed. Not only that but they are gruesome deaths. Leaves me wondering who might be watching this dreaming of their own revenge.

BTW Keanu turned down the lead role in Platoon because he didn't want to do violence.

Saw it last week and for over the top escapism from reality it was enjoyable. Clearly not meant to be a reality based drama.

None in the series have been better than the first but rarely in movies is that not the case.

I don't pretend to know the political leanings of anybody associated with this movie. I do know over the course of this franchise they have used Tarin Butler, not sure I spelled first name correct, to do real firearms training for the cast.

Keaunu Reeves has been reported to be a very decent person but I have never met him.

I also tend to blame the evil that mankind does on the evil that mankind can be.

Our film tastes vary widely. I attempted to watch the first of these films. It didn't take long to figure out it wasn't for me, but there's apparently an attraction for some.

......

JWIII was pretty good, IV was okay, but not as good as the previous. It lacked that certain surreality.

Although I didn't realize it was a 3 hour movie.
