John Wick?

How can you not love a guy who once killed a man with a pencil? I enjoyed all of the Wick movies, and they were fun to watch with my dad. My dad is in his 80's and really into firearms, and he enjoyed the heck out of the movies. Sometimes you just have to suspend disbelief a little bit to enjoy certain types of movies.

In the Bruce Willis movie RED (probably RED II)
the oriental guy kills a guy with basically a paper airplane,,

That was WAY cooler than a pencil,,,

and, in RED II ,, they have a nuclear bomb as big as a lunch box,,
it is powered by "red mercury",, which you see in the glass tube.

The bomb is detonated,, and only the bad guy dies,,,

You should look at some of the training he does for those films. You are way off the mark.

Halle Berry once explained how hard they train to do those fight scenes. It's very difficult. Nothing horrible about those flicks at all.

PS: the boys and I are fans of the franchise.

We win.
 Yes, you do!!

They stole his car and killed his dog . Of course he was pissed .

Killing your dog,...........all limits are off the table. Everyone connected has to pay........

ABSOFREAKIN'LOOOTLEE!!!!!!!!!! Both of those are correct.

Real life scenario - go ahead, touch my dog, see what happens....:(

And then there is this:
SweetMK:Didn't ANYONE watch the first season of "JUSTIFIED"???

Ahhhhh, yes, one of the finest TV shows ever made, bringing the Hollywood Western fast-draw gunfighter into the 21st century. Excellent!!!

Oh John Wick is very real. Keanu Reeves can do all that. Haven't you ever watched The Matrix?

According to the Internet score keeper, John Wick to date has killed 439 baddies. As is pointed out, that's pretty good for a guy without any special super powers.

HE NEEDS TO BE ON THE STREETS OF CHICAGO........Charley Bronson, The Death Wish guy is dead.

I like JW movies.....Will see the next one when it comes out.

Both her and Reeves train with live fire for their parts. My guess is they are professional actors, and they enjoy shooting guns. :D

Ain't a darn thing wrong with that in my book. Besides, she extremely fun to look at...........

I saw #3 on a long United flight once. Yeah it was over the top but it passed the time. Next flight I watched #2 and then #1. It grew on me. At least the scars on his face are self-consistent throughout the shows. That helps.

To me the series is a version of the Charles Bronson movies. Maybe even a third generation Dirty Harry series.

Entertainment with a shooter hero. Suspend disbelief- enjoy.

I thought that Reeves illuded to the fact that there may not be another John Wick movie because of Lance Reddick passing??

I hope I am wrong,,,

"John Wick documentaries when he did a one handed press check on a 1911."

Yeah no not on a 45 acp 18 lbs recoil spring 1911

They both trained for 6 months with Taran Butler. Halle had NEVER shot a gun before! I DEFINITELY wouldn’t want to run into her in a dark alley………wait, who am I kidding, I’d LOVE to do that!🤪 Here is some of their training:

Keanu even trains shooting with his weak hand. If you watch closely, on one of his head shots, you see “pink mist”!👍 Considering it was just a movie, and not real life law enforcement training, I think they both did very well!! I also like when he goes into the Continental Hotel’s armory and gets to pick out his weapons. Very jealous!
