Not sure if anyone's interested, but here's the Juggernaut Tactical featureless grip on my M&P AR-10 (M&P AR-10 purchased in 2019). The company does state it's NOT compatible with this lower, and as you can see, there's very little room for your hand. Still, I'll give it a try at the range and see how it handles.
Lower Parts
  • Strike Industries (SI) TRIBUS Enhanced Castle Nut & Extended End Plate Version 2 (SI-AR-TRIBUS-FDE)
  • SI Advanced Receiver Extension (SI-AR-ARE-T7-BK)
  • SI Strike MOD2 Stock – FDE (SI-STRIKE-ES-MOD2-FDE)
  • SI Quick Detach Sling Loop – Standard (SI-QDSL-STN)
  • SI Strike Switch (SI-AR-S-SS-FDE)
  • SI AR-10 SHIFT PINS (SI-AR10-SHIFT-BK)
Upper Parts
  • ODIN Works Low Profile Gas Block, Carbon Steel, Black (GB-75)
  • AIM Sports Inc 15" Low AR-10 .308 M-LOK Handguard, Black (MTM15L308)
  • Strike Industries J-Comp V2 7.62/.308
  • Magpul MOE SL Hand Guard, Mid-Length (MAG551)
  • Magpul M-LOK AFG – Angled Fore Grip (MAG598)
  • Radian Raptor LT Charging Handle (AR10/SR25) – no fitment issues on mine, despite reports from others
  • SI Ultimate Dust Cover for .308 Capsule – FDE (SI-AR-UDC-E-308-03-FDE) – doesn't fit properly and needs filing
  • Polymer hand guard inserts - eBay...

Would there be a little more room for your hand if you tried it without the
Quick Detach Sling Loop ?

Yes, there would be more room. The lower portion of the SI QD end plate is fairly smooth, which could actually work to my advantage at the range by reducing the chance of my hand getting chewed up. That said, a smaller end plate would provide more room for my hand.

prior to the house, senate, and guv making black rifles and parts illegal here on the wide open prairie, I was preparing to build a 6.5 Creedmoor on a large frame, slab side Wilson Combat upper and lower..

YES! I did register my existing rifle with the proper authorities here in Central Obamastan, I run back and forth to the farm, and NO I don't wish to be a felon for exercising my second amendment rights!

I did put a Magpul MOE handguard and collapsible stock on my big rifle, its fairly light. I don't like do-dads on my range toy, but they fit me and my rifle to a T, and make it handy run to the farm and use my 160 yard range.

I really don't care for forward assist, I keep my rifle and chamber clean and very well lubed, its happy and I'm happy.. Large frame AR's like lots of lube, buy the best parts you can afford, and keep it simple.

Nothing is more awkward than a big heavy lump with lots of stuff growing on it, keep it light!

and 308 is fine, I just wanted a flatter shooting rifle, that didn't kick like a 300 Win Mag, I do like those .30 cal holes in my Chinese cardboard, I do carry a can of white spray paint, and blue painter's tape, my groups tightened up a lot when I could actually see my target!

but honestly, nothing is cooler than my 44 Hand Ejector 1st model, just sayin! other than finding another one some day!

In the process of another build,,, With respect to forward assist, my enhanced aero upper deletes the forward assist altogether.

Aero Precision is a good bang for the buck, having a nice upper and lower, and I would love to have a Lantac BCG,, I would like to hear how the Faxon barrel does,, so some solid parts..

I would recommend 308 AR forum, lots and lots of good information, and knowledgeable folks if you have any issues with your build.
