Just a test.. New camera..& Light Box..

I built a homemade light box and documented all the materials I used on this forum in late January of 2010.

A light box and soft, diffuse multiple lighting is a good way to go when one is wanting to shoot shiny, rounded and curved metal objects . . .

There's a learning curve you must go through but it isn't hard. Mastering color balance and other post photo processing adjustments can and will get you the results you want that will make your photos "pop" too! It just takes practice.

Keep up the good work and repeat after me . . . "Photoshop is my friend, Photoshop is my friend . . . " LOL

And now tonight I'm having trouble all over again. I left the camera settings alone, I checked them again today, I'm still using the daylight bulbs, I waited for them to come to full temperature, and I'm making washed out pictures again... I know I need to invest in a new camera, but why the heck would they turn out pretty darn good last night and now tonight I want to just smash the whole setup into splinters.... grumble, grumble, grumble...

A little Photobucket editing with the Sony Cyber Shot doing most of the work:

I get a decent pic and then a garbage pic... This is as voodoo is reloading and casting...
