Interesting forum. Been a fan of S&W revolvers for a very long time...well back into the last century.
My first commercial handgun purchase was 6-inch Model 19 from the old Warshal's in Seattle many years ago.
I now have, uh, more than one S&W. My favorite trail gun is a 2 1/2-inch 19, and while I no longer move along the trail with the same speed and energy I did 30 years ago, that little revolver still
gets its share of fresh air now and then, weather permitting!
I do a fair amount of handloading, and write for about six different gun publications.
How I wound up here, a pal knew I was looking for a Model 57 with a 4-inch barrel. I can see right now I'm in pretty good company.
