Bought the Apex Duty kit yesterday and put it in my M&P 40c tonight. I spent about an hour and a half doing the install between watching the videos on the Apex site.

I didn't install the increased weight trigger spring that came with the kit, so I ended up with a very smooth pull weight about 4 lbs. All grittiness is gone, trigger reset is much shorter than stock and clearly audible. What an improvement!

Will post a range report soon. :)

I would tend to think that a 4lb trigger on a conceal gun may be getting a little on the light side. stay safe.

Cracker, that is why i chose the new spring. I almost skipped it but I didn't wanna tempt fate. I carry my FS9 everyday, so i put in the package. :( I would like to feel how it feels with the stock spring though.

I agree 100%.

For the range the factory spring is great. On my carry gun I installed the Apex spring. It was the hardest part of the kit installation, but well worth the effort.
