Just for fun...You can keep one gun

Guns are dangerous. I wouldn't keep any. If I had one I'd get rid of it at a gun buy back and receive a $100 giftcard.

As long as I have my trusty old spoon I'm good to go.

if it were normal times

If it were normal times and not a survival situation I would keep my 686 which is my pride and joy. If it were a survival situation I'd have to choose between my cheap but good rifle and my beautiful 1929 Belgian Browning (some people think that every Browning was Belgian)A5 shotgun.

My Marlin 1894 .357 Trapper.
Wife would keep "her" Model 19-3.
Daughter, her 442.
My 94 year old Mama, "her" 16 gauge SXS Stevens.

Extended family has its benefits.;)

I have been putting off responding to this thread. I can't make up my mind. Sometimes I think it's my Colt LE6920. Sometimes I think it's my Glock 21. Sometimes I think It's my S&W Lew Horton 24-3.

But when I get right down to where the rubber meets the road I would pick the Lew Horton. And I don't believe, especially in here, that I need to explain my decision. I love that gun!!! I love to handle it. I love to shoot it. I love to just look at it...... Guess it was not such a hard decision after all, at least it doesn't seem like it once it was done. ;)

I am new to this forum. It is amazing how many boating accidents occurred and how many valuable guns were lost. maybe obama will now ban boats or water?

My 1977 Ruger 10/22. I believe it to be the best all purpose gun in the safe.

My CZ75b 9mm. Proven reliability, longevity, accuracy and performance, will cycle everything from the dirtiest, sootiest reloads to the top of the line JHPs,ability to be carried cocked and locked and just plain pretty.

One gun?

Hell, that be like goin' from a Corvette to a uni-cycle........

I gentleman's gotta have at the very least a brace of holstered sidearms,
a hide-out of sorts, a fast handling carbine, a long rifle and a scatter gun of some kind.

But jest for kicks....A long range rifle....Ya get the idee ;)

I cant play that game. To start with it would have to be a defensive handgun and I have long guns I wont get rid of. I cant even tell you what my favorite guns are but I probley could narrow it down to a third of them.
Some of them are sentimental or passed down family favorites, others might be more practical but not as well attached to, all different reasons. I have plenty hunting rifles and shotguns but frankly havent hunted in years.
Truth is, outside of needing defense guns available or guns to survive in case the day ever comes, I have many guns I dont "Need". Yet I still have a high intrest in them but probley wont be buying any or at least many more.
I doubt if I am any different than anyone else here in those aspects.

It might be my Marlin lever action .44 magnum or the Winchester .22 mag lever action

I own all of these:
Noveske AR 15, FNH SCARS 17S, Colt Pythons, S&W .357, .44 mag, .22 mag revolvers, Rem 870, Ruger 10/22 and Mini14, Browning Hi-Powers, Kahr 9mm and .380, CZ .380, Dan Wesson ECO 9mm, Rem coach gun 12 gauge, H&K P7M8 9mm, Winchester .22 mag lever action, Scout rifle in .308 - bolt action

but it might have to be the Marlin .44 mag
