Stippling, night sights and frame/grip mod......any internal work? Looks good, waiting for the review. :)

Absolutely - Bowie's LX Trigger.

The review isn't complete, but you can check out what I have up so far on my site (check the copyright URL in my images...this site won't allow me to link to my site).

Very nice write up!!! Love the looks of the gun, and it sounds like you are very happy with the results....

Thats great, seems like nowadays the norm is to be dissatisfied with results, and its nice to see some companies still believe in exceeding our expectations.....

Bowie is a one-man operation - he's in the business of making good guns great. He's pretty good at exceeding expectations.

My Shield went to DB yesterday

Coincidentally, I took my Shield down to David's yesterday for the same work that John had done. Also took my M&P 9L for some Bowie magic to make it a tactical tack driver.

I have had several M&P's done by David and they are all great. His workmanship is first rate, and he is a good guy. Like John, I met him at TDI.

He should have them done when I go down to TDI for my annual re-take of Close Quarters 3 & 4, in late March.

What John did not mention is that TDI is a great place to train. Mr. Benner and his staff are absolutely first rate.

S/F,

RAS

Nice video, really like the stippling, and the sights. Really thinking about getting the same sights for my shield.....

I really enjoyed the video and the article. I was going to send a PM and ask about the cost of the work you had done and then found it in the article.

Your Shield looks nice and I have already paid a visit to Mr. Bowie's website. I have a Shield and a Glock 43 and will be driving through Ohio this summer on my way back east. At least it would save me shipping one way.

Thanks again.

S/F,

I'll second that RAS. I've got over 300 hours of defensive/tactical training under my belt, and I've taken several TDI classes. TDI is a premier facility with a top reputation here in the US.

I guess David isn't teaching at TDI anymore, which is why I didn't mention it.

Does he sing too? Sounds like he is about to be swamped with new S&W customers,me being one!
