Jimmie had been a Train Brakeman and gave us numerous Train Songs including Hobo Bill.
Jimmie was extremely popular and had many fans and young performers who idolized him

Used to ride Amtrak from Princeton, NJ to Union Station in DC. Takes you thru the worst parts of every city and town in between. Not much fun and NO romance.
