Just In Case You Were Not Aware

Business as usual. Between the thousands of "Resident America Hating Violent No Citizenship Status" critters in all 50 states, loudmouth "professional it stirrers" have given a "fling it" directive. When I leave the house in half an hour I will slip my CZ in my waistband as usual. My attitude is always the same: show a weapon, I draw. Point it and I guess we'll see what happens next. Joe

Couple of Jewish schools in the Vegas Valley canceled classes today "out of an abundance of caution". Other than that the only excitement was a wreck in the middle of a construction zone that totaled the morning commute on the east side. 71 minutes to travel 5 miles. Ouch.

Wife and I both had the day off. Went for breakfast this morning then did some housework. Then we went to the bank and did a bit of shopping. No terrorists were seen. Well, there were some pretty bad drivers who could be described as terrorists since they terrify the more rational drivers near them.

I never go out without my carry piece, but for some reason today I forgot it at home. But, as the saying goes, no harm no foul.

So nothing happened of consequence yesterday?

I'm sure the 2900+ people who went to work, took an airplane, or were just going about their regular day thought nothing of 9/11.
Heck, the previous couple of months and years were without event, so everything was fine.
The terrorists don't run on the same clock as humans do. They will do what they do when the time is right for them.
Enjoy every day you have.

I am not quite sure why people feel the need to scoff at legitimate warnings. Sometimes it is better to just say a prayer.

I scoff at illegitimate warnings that simply are made up nonsense that stirs up paranoia and fear. I am home from work in Mogadishu and will return there after leave. We do actual risk assessment based on actual information to lessen the likelihood of death or injury to our workers.

Making up and spreading silly predictions with no serious basis serves no legitimate purpose.

I haven't heard of anything happening in this area yesterday. I was expecting some kind of demonstrations or something outside of a few of the numerous military bases we have here but I haven't heard of anything. I was a little more prepared than usual during our shopping and dinner excursions yesterday however.

I spent all afternoon at the range sighting in a suppressed 300 Blackout SBR with some new defensive ammo. Figured that was the last place any Jihadi's would come looking to start any trouble. It was a beautiful fall afternoon and I had the whole place to myself.

Something I always wondered about Claymores: What makes the Army think that troops that are so ignorant that they need to have "FRONT TOWARD ENEMY" molded into the mine are smart enough to read "FRONT TOWARD ENEMY?"
If they get throgh the wire you have a few facing your way too...understand GET DOWN
