Just picked up the M&P 15-22

Got it yesterday, cleaned it this morning and shot a few mags in the back yard. It's been 4 hours and I still can't wipe the silly grin off my face. Does life get better than that?

I'm flying through mags now, can't imagine how quick I'd go through 'em if I had a slide fire...lol.

Congrats on the new S&W. Only thing I do not like about mine is the mags run out way too fast and it takes too long to reload them.

Having extra mags is a mute point at the public range we frequent as they will not allow you to bring preloaded mags in. This is a good thing as some of the folks that show up do not have a clue as to what they are doing.

One owner could not get his pistol to work; sure does help to load the ammo in the mag the right direction.

Thanks for the warm welcome to the forum, I'm enjoying my time on here. I posted a couple pics in the photo thread but wanted to toss them in here too. This was my coloring project this morning after my son went to school. (And yes, I asked him before destroying his Crayons...)
