Well I just purchased a S&W 22a 7 in 22 lr for target, like it so far, put a holographic red/green dot sight on it, seems to be good on feeding ammo...any opinions on this pistol...

also looking to replace a ccw pistol that I have had for some time with possible S&W...but not sure what..

.any recommendations...want to stay with 9mm at this time as I have a lot and all my other pistols are 9mm, easier to keep just a few kinds and around here I can get it fairly cheap...

I've had a 22A since 1997, when they first were introduced. I think it's a great pistol, especially seeing how little it cost. Mine has been completely reliable and is close to my Model 41 in accuracy. Great value.

As for a S&W for CCW, it would first depend on whether you wanted polymer or metal. I prefer metal myself; along those lines, and staying in 9mm, the 3913 (single-stack) or 6904/6906 (double-stack) pistols would be good.

What kind of holo sights do you have on the 22A. Looking for some for a Ruger MK II or a Browning buckmark but have not decided yet. thanks.

i actually just bought a 22A this afternoon for $200 with the works. its a 5.5 barrel which im happy with and plan on adding a red dot or holographic sight in the near future for steel plate matches.

Highly recommend the S&W M&P 9c for your next CCW pistol.
Got one... love it.

Put on a TruGlo...

it is a truglo multi reticle/dual color red dot... you can find the specs at their web site...new version for them...it was 78.00 at the gun shop where I deal and they cut me a discount because I purchased the gun there also... they even installed it and bore sighted it for me...hope this helps... I love it...

For CCW I recommend the M&P9c, great little gun, comfortable to carry and accurate even with me sqeezing the trigger.
