OK Now I know that we are not to publish links to live auctions without permission.
So I won't.
But I have a question. There is a consecutive set of 25-2's heavily engraved and inlaid on the big auction sight that was engraved by Tom Freyberger. But not in house !! I have never seen work like this except for some by Alvin White of this quality.

Seeing as these guns were according to the seller engraved by this engraver at home how much of an effect besides the fact that they won't be able to letter from Roy does this really have on the value. I have heard of Freyberger but don't really know anything about him I know he worked with Russ Smith. But that's about it. I am seriously thinking about placing a bid here and I want some coaching. I know that consecutive sets are extremely hard to come by and very rare by themselves. But These are amazing, could this be a one of a kind thing? I'm just trying to figure out how to play this.

Thanks all

Lol
It's interesting how the view count on these guns went up about 150 views after I posted this thread. So now I guess I'm not the only one watching this auction. There was a new bidder today though. It's ok, I think I know where the bidding on these is going to be in about 6 days but the problem is I don't think we are even close yet.

Darn Reserves !

Also I wonder where the guy got that knife box? I guess he bought all the knives in it. But as I recall you couldn't buy just the case. I didn't care too much for the knives at that time but I did get one of the Bowies. It's the same knife just in basic form that came with the Texas Ranger Comm.
