K-22 1st Model question.

I wouldn't sell either of mine for a paltry $1100. That feature alone adds hundreds to the value.

Very nice guns fellas, I'm also looking for a nice shooter and have just about decided to cough up the bucks for a really nice one. I've never really liked the look of the HBH but probably wouldn't turn one down.

If I can be forgiven for a bit of thread drift can anyone who has a set of K-frame pre-war magnas please measure the dia. of the medallions for me. Thanks very much.

The Magna's have the same diameter medallions as the service grips.

Thank you Dean and Dick. I was pretty sure that was the size but wanted to check before drilling a set. Jared spoke of condition and maybe that 98% gun was to good to shoot, I think if it's already been shot and your kind to it the rise in value will at the very least offset the small decrease in condition.

Its not the look that we like, its the feel. Your thumb just kind of rolls right up and on it. There is no extension or extra reach as you have with a normal hammer. That in turn allows you to keep the same grip, shot after shot. HBH is a functional option, not a cosmetic one.

And you know someone that has an extra HBH rimfire hammer!
