I was looking at a K-22 Masterpiece this morning and was wondering about the date of it. It is a one liner with diamond magna grips. Quite a bit of bluing loss, mainly on the cylinder, other than that the gun is in good condition. It seems to function OK. Serial #17886. What would be the value of this gun?

Well,it's from 1947. Without seeing pics,it's hard to place an accurate value on it. That said, the fact that it is a one-liner (does it have the large ejector knob?) makes it somewhat more valuable in any given condition than one with the 4-line address. The K-22's remain high in demand and I've not seen many,if any at all,in good condition sell for less than $500 as of late.

It does not have the large knob. They are asking $470 for it. I'll have to think a bit on this one. They also had a older M&P in better condition with the large knob, with old style grips, serial #427730 for $375. Don't have a clue about this one. No box or papers on either gun. Thanks.

do a "bundle" and try to get the prices lower by buying both :D

for $470 i'd offer them $450 and snag it at either price.
